UniGear ZS1 is the ABB mainline switchgear for primary distribution up to 24 kV, 4 000 A, 50 kA. The switchgear is manufactured worldwide and there are more than 200,000 panels currently installed. UniGear ZS2 (formerly known as UniSafe 36) is a medium voltage, metal-clad air-insulated switchgear (AIS) suitable for indoor installations. It has a modular design and is built with robust and well-proven components. Metal sheets segregate each compartment and the energized components are air-insulated.
The arc-proof units have been tested in compliance with IEC standards.
